About me
With nearly 10 years of experience in the caretaking field, I have honed a wide range of skills working with children, pets, and household tasks. My career began at an occupational therapy clinic for children in Oak Park, where I assisted therapists in helping kids recognize and manage their emotions using various tools and techniques. This experience gave me a deep understanding of emotional development and how to guide children through challenges. I also worked at a Montessori school, where I cared for toddlers, nurturing their development in a creative and educational environment. My passion for helping others extends beyond children to older adults, where I've assisted them with daily tasks they may find challenging. Over the years, I have had the privilege of babysitting, nannying, and providing overnight pet care for numerous families, developing strong, trusting relationships with both the families and their pets.
I also worked at a boutique pet care company, where I provided daily dog walking and cat care, further deepening my love for animals. Currently, I am a house manager for a family in Evanston, where I oversee their schedule, drive the children to and from activities, and support them with various organizational tasks around the house. I take great pride in my work and genuinely enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for. I am eager to continue helping families in the Chicagoland area, offering my expertise and dedication to creating a supportive and well-managed environment for those I help.
